Chihayafuru
This is a very very well written manga by Suetsugu Yuki, whom some may know as the author caught plagiarizing. This is her first work since the plagiarism incident, and I'm quite impressed with the story, with the characters, but most of all with the art. It won some big manga award too. All the Japanese raws can be found at http://www.raw-manga.com/2010/05/chihayafuruchihaya-full-manga-raw.html and I guarantee it is an awesome read.
Basically this story is about Chihaya, a pretty high school girl who is obsessed with the traditional Japanese card game, karuta.
